I would recommend this place to anyone with a cat, on a budget, who still needs great care for their animal.

I read the reviews before coming to this place and I was completely impressed. The assistants communicate well with the vets, so when you arrive for the appointment it's smooth sailing.

The vet was kind and gentle with my cat, and I've never seen my cat so relaxed in a veterinary environment. Bonus: the place doesn't smell like a hospital/vets' office, so my cat didn't even realize where we were!

Taking our cat in to see the folks at this clinic has been far better than we expected. He had stopped eating, and we were so worried. We'd never seen them before, but this clinic has been fantastic. They have respected our extremely limited financial situation, we have never felt they were pressuring us to "make a buck", but we also feel 100% confident that our little guy is getting the best care there is. Very professional, very understanding, very kind.

The prices are reasonable and the vets really do try to save people money without upselling! My cat was congested and the vet suggested a course of antiviral medication FIRST, and only if that didn't work to do antibiotic treatment (which we didn't end up needing).

I've been bringing my cat here since 2011 and they saved her life more than once. Truly great service. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Never met the vet because the receptionist really was trying everything to NOT have me get an RV for my cat who just had an accident. She said the vet was busy, she was giving me directions for all sort of other places. Basically the usual vet that will tell you to go to DMV or Rive-Sud if you have an emergency (Have you experienced this too?). The reason of me complaining here is simple: on their website they announce that they take emergencies, this is the precise reason why I called. So this to me is false representation, hardcore style. If anyone in power in the animal safety community in Montreal could please fix this: a vet should never be allowed to mention they accept emergencies when they simply don't. In fact if you are a vet and not ready to take extra minutes at the end of your day because an animal has been suddenly hurt, it's ok, it's not an obligation, but DON'T pretend that you deal in emergencies. Basically I am guessing the strategy here is to push away clients with tough situations to only get the clients with the most simple demands, like vaccination. This is alas a common practice among lazy vets, but just, please, don't say you accept emergencies.

Very disappointed in the lack of service they have provided. We saw a vet there who was very kind and nice but she left. Now this other vet does not agree with her ex colleagues advice with helping calm our cat. There was no follow-up after our phone calls. All we wanted was a good vet and it's not there.
