  Rooms are pretty standard if a little older. Great breakfast! Hotel is right on one of the main streets in Montreal with lots to do within walking distance. It is affiliated with McGill, so there are a lot more college age activities around it.

  Good location. Friendly staff. Decent breakfast. Good selection. Only complaint about breakfast; lots of dirty plates. Rooms were well cleaned, some spots missed here and there. Old building, so carpet, curtains, ceilings etc. are somewhat outdated.

  Arriving was very easy and we found parking across the street for $20 a night. The hotel was close to transit and about a half hour walk to old Montreal. The hotel was fine for two nights as we were barely there. The room had a slight odour, the airconditioning did not work, the window was filthy so there was no view and the shower did not drain. The beds were comfortable though. The breakfast that was included was not good at all! In the end it was okay but it wasn't cheap!

  You might have found this place by searching for 'hotels Montreal'. I would not think of it as hotel level standards - as long as you manage your expectations, noting that it is first and foremost student residence, traveller's accommodation second then you'll find the place to be perfectly fine. For the price and the central location, it does the job - just don't expect the high standards as you might with a hotel. The decor is dated, maintenance could be better, but it'll suffice.
