One of my favorite place to enjoy their funky terrace, but I can't tell how much was I deceived returning there after a couple of years, only to see that my sandwich wasn't filled as it used to be. The chicken salad was only covering half the bread, and all around it was only salad leaves. It is the second place this year that I have visited and was so deceived, knowing about their usual standards and portions, only to find out how they are cheating their customers. And when you are eating on the terrace, get ready to wait forever, as it doesn't seem to be instinctive for the servers to come every now and then, to see if you need something. The poor service quality and the half-filled sandwiches might have had an impact on their customers, because the restaurant was almost empty on a Friday night last time I pass by. I guess that people get fed up by that kind of behavior and lack of integrity. It would take just a little more consistency to keep the place the way it always been. Only 5-6 years ago, I would have give this place 5 stars.

Soup and sandwiches are great tasting and good quality food for the price. The courtyard is awesome to sit in and when it starts getting a little cold they have outdoor heaters and blankets. The place gets quite busy at lunch so there is a bit of a wait to get the food but nothing unreasonable.

One of the best sandwiches I've had in in my life, I've had here. The mixture of their house mayo, with dried nuts, herbs, etc. was spectacular. Since we were on vacation, I also had a milkshake... I ate ALL of it. Did I end up feeling like I was about to explode? Yes. Was it absolutely worth it? Definitely. Staff are also super funny and nice. Beautiful location, specially if you're seated in their terrace.

An absolutely delightful cafe. The service was quick and easy. The sandwich I chose was so unique and I was a tad pessimistic, but it was unbelievable. Eclectic mix of flavours but it meshed so well. Wasn't expensive and the vibe was fantastic. Would definitely recommend.

This coffeeshop is more than just another commerce selling food. Santropol is a co-op that grows food, prepare dishes and distribute food for the poor. The coffeeshop is spacious and you have different sections with different setups and views. The whole place is decorated with recycled furniture and you have many books and games you can use. My best part of it is the garden they have in the back patio, including a pond, flowers and plants.

The place is also known for its sandwiches made with their own bread.
